The Naga College Foundation, Inc. (NCF) community extends its warmest felicitations to Mr. Mario C. Villanueva, NCF President, for being one of the recipients of the Gawad Banyuhay Award for Resiliency conferred by the Dr. Carl E. Balita Foundation, Inc.
Being personally presented by Dr. Carl E. Balita, Founder of the Dr. Carl E. Balita Foundation, Inc., and Chairman of the CEB Group of Companies, the award was received by Dr. Aida P. Osea, Vice President for Academic Affairs, on March 3, 2023, at the Capitol Convention Center, Pili, Camarines Sur, witnessed by thousands of reviewees for the licensure examination for professional teachers (LEPT) enrolled in the Carl E. Balita Review Center (CBRC).
On March 4, 2023, during the NCF employeesโ gala night, Dr. Osea handed out the award, which was joyfully accepted by President Villanueva.
The Banyuhay Award for Resiliency is awarded to exceptional individuals who have shown resiliency amid the pandemic, as well as to individuals who are “living and leading an exemplary life for others through transformative community service and engagement.”
Amid the global public health threat, NCF remained a steadfast institution and a benchmark for providing quality and affordable education bounded by excellence and innovation within and beyond the walls of this esteemed institution through the dynamic and vision-oriented leadership of Mr. Mario C. Villanueva.
