NCF modifies Flex50, integrates physical classes for AY 2022-2023 as NCF responds to the needs and demands of the “better normal” education. The academe reinstates face-to-face classes in all courses and at all levels as part of the modified Flex50 – the continuing strategy for instructional delivery in the post-pandemic era.
NCF adopts two learning modalities –blended learning and the face-to-face –adherence to the post-pandemic education that sets parallel standards and offers the identical significance of authentic teaching-learning interaction and digitalization as the new-fangled manner of education.
In blended learning, instructors will still use Google Classroom and Google Meet for synchronous and asynchronous sessions. However, major examinations will be administered in a face-to-face manner to gauge students’ authentic competencies, evaluate accordingly, and offer timely and relevant feedback to the learners.
Face-to-face modality, on the other hand, entails the conduct of teaching-learning processes, as well as the assessment in a physical classroom. However, in-person classes can only be conducted when Naga City is classified under Alert Level 1 or 2. Therefore, Google Classroom is required for all instructors in all courses, levels, and modalities. This will serve as a contingency measure to ensure a continuous learning process.
