Students and employees of Naga College Foundation, Inc. (NCF) take part in the Second Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) 2023 today, June 8, at the NCF main campus.
Parallel to the First Quarter NSED 2023 in March, the Security and Safety Office (SSO) and the Disaster Risk Reduction Management Group (DRRMG) of NCF hold the NSED to reassess the institution’s proficiency in responding to an earthquake scenario as well as to determine the areas for improvement in the emergency management plan.
Further, NSED served as one of the priority programs of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), with the aim of increasing citizens’ awareness and augmenting the effort in disaster preparedness.
