Enrollment Soars All-time High

For the first time after more than two decades, the College of Engineering (COE) has achieved an all-time high enrollment performance this 1st semester, School Year 2019-2020. COE has registered a resounding 63.32% increase in enrollment with School Year 2018-2019 as its baseline. It has now a total population of 325 strong contenders aspiring to become future Tiger Engineers.

The dramatic increase in enrollment of the College is attributed to its student recruitment program and promotional campaign targeting academically advanced students who are inclined to pursue a degree in engineering. The College offered various scholarship packages ranging from 100% free tuition for SHS students graduating with the Highest Honors; 75% tuition fee discount for those gradating with High Honors; and 50% tuition fee discount for SHS students graduating with Honors.

Aside from the above-mentioned scholarship packages, the College also offer an outright 25% tuition fee discount to all incoming freshmen students who were not recipients of academic honors upon graduation from SHS but opted to enroll in any of the three Engineering Baccalaureate programs of the College.

These scholarship schemes will continue to be in effect as a sustaining corporate social responsibility of the COE to help less-privileged but academically deserving students to realize their dreams of becoming successful Tiger Engineers in the future.
